Current activities - non stop
I have been quite busy over the past few months so now that I have a moment I thought it would be a good idea to have a little update.

As far as the university is concerned, my placement has now finished. This finished around mid April with a presentation on what I have done this year, not only from a design point of view but as a business point of view as well and where I will take Instantly Creative in the future.

As the end of may was approaching and work was slowing down (apart from filing my tax with HM Revenue and Customs) I started a temporary full time job as a web editor for the school of education within the University of Huddersfield, with the main role of migrating there old website over to the universities new CMS website.
So with the new job, means that I will be staying in Huddersfield all summer.

Think I am in need of a holiday, as it has been about 6 years since the last, so this may be on the cards for the beginning of September, but who knows more work may come in and put a stop to that :)

Instantly Creative
Seems, like ages since I posted on here, well I suppose it is!
So far my Alternative Placement year is going all OK. I have decided to go under the name Instantly Creative.
As well as working, I have also been attending certain sesions at university, like group mentoring sessions with other Alternative Placement year students as well as lectures on things like marketing and finance next week.
Yesterday I had a one on one tutorial with Graham Leslie, chairman of Galpharm International, which was very useful, so Thank you Graham for listening and for your comments.

Been over a month!
Been a while since I last posted. Well i'm currently back up in the north east, until mid September anyway. Currently just doing bit of freelance web work with some photo editing to start soon as well.
Still looking hard for a work placement for September, but also starting to think about going freelance if that does not happen. So have already started work on a new web site that will house my freelance work and come across as a design studio, even got the name and domain sorted out, www.creative-monkeys.co.uk

Whats happening?
Just a little summery of what I have been up to and whats going on.
I have now finished my second year at uni, although I am still currently living at uni for a few reasons; Waiting around for my results, which will be released in little over two weeks, as well as the final years end of degree show, which is also around this time.

I am still keeping busy with Streetgraphics, with the next issue to launch very soon now, as well as still on the look out for a work placement for next year.
I am also keeping busy by adding to my last uni project. This is a 3D film trailer that although I believe may have got me a good grade (only time will tell) I still delive that there is more that I can add to it. Current Activities
Well its getting to that time of year again (i don't mean Christmas), end of uni year, work deadlines and also this year, finding a job!

I am currently in search of a work placement for my upcoming third year. Although I am still not total sure which area I would like to specialise in, I do know that I would like to work for a small, but big company. Meaning in terms of people, quite a small company, so that I may get involved as much as possibly and reach my full potential. And in terms of a big company, someone with a big client list and portfolio of work.
