Current activities - non stop
I have been quite busy over the past few months so now that I have a moment I thought it would be a good idea to have a little update.

As far as the university is concerned, my placement has now finished. This finished around mid April with a presentation on what I have done this year, not only from a design point of view but as a business point of view as well and where I will take Instantly Creative in the future.

As the end of may was approaching and work was slowing down (apart from filing my tax with HM Revenue and Customs) I started a temporary full time job as a web editor for the school of education within the University of Huddersfield, with the main role of migrating there old website over to the universities new CMS website.
So with the new job, means that I will be staying in Huddersfield all summer.

Think I am in need of a holiday, as it has been about 6 years since the last, so this may be on the cards for the beginning of September, but who knows more work may come in and put a stop to that :)

Freelancing for Brahm
Today was the first day of nine, freelancing for Brahm at Leeds.
Been a long day, but already learning how large studios are ran, looking forward to the next few days of it.

Been over a month!
Been a while since I last posted. Well i'm currently back up in the north east, until mid September anyway. Currently just doing bit of freelance web work with some photo editing to start soon as well.
Still looking hard for a work placement for September, but also starting to think about going freelance if that does not happen. So have already started work on a new web site that will house my freelance work and come across as a design studio, even got the name and domain sorted out, www.creative-monkeys.co.uk

Film Noir Complete
I have prety much finished this project (for now anyway), as I am spedmning at lot of the time at the moment either searching for a work placement, working on a freelance project or working on my own new project.

My own project is going to be a portfolio in Flash, where the user is presenting with a book on screen and then can interact with it to turn the pages to see the work.
Currently this is only going to be showing my print work, but this may change.
