Current activities
As I have a number of blogs for different uni based projects as well as other things that I have been getting up to and maybe do not post about, I have decided that I would add a post on here to sum up that is going on in all my uni based projects, freelance work and general things.

Uni Based Projects:
Permanent Flux
An emotional animation. An hand drawn animation about a guys feelings when his girlfriend brakes up with him. Will probably be about 1min 6seconds when completed. I also have the rights to the music that will go with it, which will also help to add to the watchers emotions.

Firelight
Game design. The final piece for this project will be an animation showing what my designed game will look like. The game is an on rails shoot 'em up game that’s main element is the graphics, this is a game that you only play to see the graphics.
Although the finished piece will be this animation, I am still doing loads of concept designs as well as even modelling all the elements, even though they may no appear in the final piece.

Typography
Real type. I am producing art work meant for print, based on "real type", the concept of producing typefaces from physical objects, wire, wood, etc.
Hopefully from this I would then like to make an online community for people to share there own work and experiments with this.

Process and Production
Robotics. This project just keeps getting more and more complex. The project its self is actually split into two parts:
Part one; a robotic car being controlled via a computer around a virtual room. The user will see objects on the screen and will be able to drive a car around on screen, around these objects, using the computers mouse. If an object is hit the car on screen will stop. This is also projected into the real world; there will be a robotic car moving as the virtual one is. The car will be connected to the computer via USB and to the mains for power.
Part two; making the robotic car wireless, getting rid of the power cable and USB, replacing them with batteries and Bluetooth. Being able to locate the position of the real car on screen by use a camera above it to track its position. To have sound coming from the robotic car of an old man mumbling. With all this the robotic car will be acting like old man that is losing his mind.

Online Gaming
Online gaming a waste of time? This is a presentation that I am doing with another student. The presentation of comparing online gaming with a quote by Marcel Proust, "A la recherche du temps perdu.", with translates to "In search of lost time".
To make the actual presentation different, it will be a video of two characters set in the popular online came, Counter-Strike, talking about this concept.
